Devlog #6: Continuing outside of a jam

In my last update on Monday, I was fresh off of a full day’s work, and I was feeling excited about the focused direction to finish up the game jam. Unfortunately, I woke up Tuesday under the weather. I have no idea if it’s the virus or just a random ailment, but I decided to rest up. I spoke with Whitevault on Thursday, and I planned on writing this update that afternoon, and proceeded to take a nap and never return to my computer.

After a couple more days of rest, I’m hoping to get back to work on things tomorrow. While I haven’t written a single line of code since Tuesday, I have a few pages in my notebook with some notes and visions of the next steps I’m going to take for my engine to finish this up. Optimistically, we’re hoping to have this project done by the end of May, but until I get fully productive again, it’s hard to estimate.

Rock paper scissors

Whitevault has still been working on his assets, and sent this to me on Thursday so that this post would have something visual to show off. I’m getting really excited to see people challenge each other to Rock Paper Scissors soon.

Hopefully I’ll be posting another update in the next couple days with some more news of progress. Thanks to everyone who’s been following along so far!
